anyhow, happy 2008 errbody!!! i think i'm gonna try to resurrect this thing.. only to keep the memories fresh.
since my last post, my church has moved on to bigger and better things. yes, ladies and gentlemen. guess what suzie got for xmas? rock band!!!
the first week i got it, a handful of us -- whom i lovingly like to refer to as the rock band all stars -- played that jank every freaking day until at least 1 or 2 am. this is the same week that michelle, helen and i saw each other for 10 days straight and didn't want to hurt each other after it all. the playing of rock band has become quite intense, i might say... esp. since we're playing it on daniel & helen's 60" sony with a sound system. wut wut??!?!
speaking of helen & daniel, i have now moved to glen mill inn aka their crib in rockville. i'm stationed at the baltimore office starting a week and a half from now until who knows when. it's a sweet deal. my boss is paying for my rent & utilities, so i don't have to pay for 2 places at once. SCORE!!!
other than that, seriously. where are all the gilbert blythes of the world?? you all need to come out of hiding. have no clue what i'm talking about? take a peek at anne of green gables. all 3 of them -- each one being at least 3 hours long. ladies, you'll see what i'm talking about.
things to look forward to: my fair lady @ the kennedy center this sunday. girls night out. woohoo!!! AND. i love you, you're perfect, now change! at the bethesda theatre. anyone down to go watch??? let's go!!! ^.^

| it's been a hot minute since i wrote in this. well, here we go:
i've been spending a LOT of time with my church folks lately. we have all become quite addicted to guitar hero. it's a ritual - go to church, eat lunch, come to my place, play guitar hero for HOURS, eat dinner, go home. it's fun to have a house full of people, though. =)
a few of us started to play clue until the wee hours of christmas morning. believe it or not, it was pretty intense. i faked a lot of people out, but oh -- helen was the biggest faker-outter ever! well, played, helen... well played.
this holiday break is turning in to not so much of a holiday break. it kind of sucks. but as is life. but hey, at least i get to work from home, right? in 2 weeks time, i will be living in glen mill inn located in rockville (teehee) and stationed in the baltimore office for about a month. should be interesting.
i'm still in shock that i got just about 90% of what i put up on elfster. john tran -- you are the GREATEST secret santa EVER. ^.^ how, i can be uber nerd and do my cosby show marathon and read read read!
i can't believe it's already almost 2008! this year went by way too fast. i wonder what 2008 has in store for me...
anyhow, merry belated christmas everyone! ^.^

| last friday was a freaking reunion all across the board. at fair oaks AND ibiza. i definitely saw a bunch of people i haven't seen in YEARS.
random act of kindness. went to fair oaks to do some shopping with ading. thank you, long haired boy working at the information desk, for taking the time out to walk around the mall and look for me to hand me back the wallet i had left at the information desk after buying a gift card. who does that? i sure as hell wouldn't have if i worked there.
i was told for the gazillionth time that i'm more filpino than korean. i asked roi to give me a filipino name. at first, he was trying to give me the name suzie dimatae (yeah.. thanks..) we ended up with a name that everyone thought was clever, yet fitting for me. what's that name?

50 cent has made a VERY bold statement.
he has promised to stop making solo albums if kanye west beats him in album sales when both of them drop on sept. 11, 2007.
i firmly believe we need to all rally together, buy kanye's album and stop 50 from releasing more crap records.
